Manage Releases

By definition a release is the distribution of software to the consumer. The releases can be distributed in two ways:

  1. Through the My Account > Licenses > Specific Licence page ,if the purchased license is tied to specific Software Item.
  2. By using the REST API Software endpoints by providing the License Activation token as explained here.

To add or edit software releases you will need to edit “Software” item from the License Manager > Software menu.

Release/Software Types

The plugin supports Basic and WordPress software releases. The difference between the two is the WordPress type supports some fields that are required in theme and plugin updates distribution.
